Big Tech is not just spending more. It is lighting a fire under the entire AI supply chain.

After Amazon $AMZN ( ▼ 1.56% ) revealed plans to pour roughly $200 billion into business investment, investors started connecting the dots. If hyperscalers are ramping capex far beyond what Wall Street expected, then the companies selling them the tools, chips, and power are in prime position to ride the wave.

From Crypto Mines to AI Gold Mines

Some of the biggest winners sit in the data center and “neocloud” world. Applied Digital $APLD, CoreWeave $CRWV, Cipher Mining $CIFR, and Nebius $NBIS have all been ripping higher, with several getting an added boost from their roots in crypto mining infrastructure. Turns out, warehouses built for Bitcoin are pretty handy when the job shifts to AI compute.

These firms are essentially becoming the overflow valves for Big Tech, stepping in to provide extra capacity as demand for AI workloads keeps outpacing supply.

Chipmakers Back in the Driver’s Seat

Then there are the chip giants. Nvidia $NVDA, Broadcom $AVGO, and Advanced Micro Devices $AMD are once again front and center, as every new data center buildout translates into more demand for high-performance processors and networking silicon.

This is the hardware layer of the AI boom, and right now, the order books look anything but soft.

Racks, Racks, and More Power

It is not just about chips. Companies that physically assemble and house these systems are getting love too. Super Micro Computer $SMCI and Dell $DELL are benefiting from the surge in demand for server racks and integrated AI systems.

And none of this works without energy. That is where names like Oklo $OKLO, NuScale $SMR, and Plug Power $PLUG come in. As AI data centers grow more power-hungry, investors are betting that next-gen nuclear and alternative energy providers could play a key role in keeping the lights on.

When Big Tech opens the spending floodgates, it is not just their balance sheets that change. Entire ecosystems start to move.
